Teachers in Action, Out of Action

In 2018, teachers in West Virginia went on 55 county wide strike. I interviewed three teachers to see how they use narrative to make sense of a chaotic time.

These are fieldnotes I took as a participant and observer at a classic bicycle race in Brown County, Indiana, The Hilly Hundred.


National Register of Historic Place Nomination

Lock and Dam No. 5
I and two other students conducted fieldwork and archival research to put together a practice nomination for the National Register of Historic Places. Lock and dam no. 5 rests just west of Mammoth Cave on the Green River.

This is a practice grant I did for an Ohio Media grant. My proposal was to fund a documentary on the National Tractor Pull race in Bowling Green, OH.
